The artwork was designed by illustrator and animator Alex Hare (Pixelpuncha) as a creative interpretation of the Festival’s brief, capturing key program areas through his signature bold, character-driven visual language.

The mural was then hand painted in full by Cale Hummerston, whose signwriting precision allowed the digital illustration to be translated cleanly at a significant scale. Every line, shape and character on the wall was executed by hand, demonstrating a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in high-traffic retail environments.
