The mural was painted by Michael Betts, whose technical precision and ability to capture tone, texture and depth bring the Kraken’s dark, mythic world to life. The design features hyper-detailed tentacles, cracked brickwork and a looming Kraken eye emerging from the wall, paired with striking product illustrations that appear to break through the surface.

The result is an atmospheric, tactile and heavily detailed installation that blends craft with storytelling, giving Kraken Rum a commanding presence in one of Perth’s busiest inner-city corridors.
